• South Bay JDM owns and runs this website and is responsible for its listings, prices, customer communication and order fulfillment.
• The online store is hosted on Shopify. Card, Apple Pay and other wallet payments are processed by Shopify Payments; PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store full card numbers.
• We are not a franchise, subsidiary or authorized dealer of any vehicle manufacturer or OEM.
• We sell JDM engines, transmissions, front clips and nose cuts, Korean car parts and accessories, ship within the United States, offer local pickup in San Jose, and install engines and transmissions locally.

• Items are used or pre-owned unless the listing says otherwise; some are refurbished or remanufactured.
• Each listing shows the condition, the documented mileage where we have it, and known fitment.
• Every engine passes a multi-point inspection and compression test before it ships.
• Warranty coverage for eligible engines and transmissions is limited as described in our Warranty and Return & Refund Policy. Where a written limited warranty applies, implied warranties last no longer than that warranty.
• Items listed without a warranty are sold "as is" to the fullest extent the law allows.
• Our Disclaimer has full details on condition, fitment, mileage and emissions.

• The content of this site, including product descriptions, photos, layout, and the South Bay JDM name and logo, belongs to South Bay JDM and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law.
• You may view, download and print pages for your own non-commercial use.
• You need our written permission to copy, distribute or change any content.
• Scraping product data, prices or images without written permission is not allowed. Search engines indexing the site according to robots.txt are fine.

We use them only to describe which vehicles a part fits or where it came from. This doesn't mean any of these companies is affiliated with, sponsors or endorses us.

• This notice and your use of the site are governed by California law and applicable U.S. federal law. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
• Disputes go to the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, or the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
• Online sales of goods are governed by the California Commercial Code. Either side may still use small claims court.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the price you paid for it, whatever the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, warranty or otherwise). We are not liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, special or punitive damages, including:

• labor, diagnostic, removal or installation costs
• towing, rental car, storage or transport costs
• lost wages, lost profits or loss of use
• damage a part causes to other components after it is installed

Some states don't allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your state's law permits.

1. Email or call us with your order number and a description of the problem. We reply within 1–2 business days.
2. We review the issue in good faith and may ask for photos or a mechanic's report.
3. We both try to settle it through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days.
4. If that doesn't work, either of us can take the claim to the courts named in Section 6.
